Ladywood Community Garden

A communal garden in Ladywood Birmingham with a communal compost heap as well as a seating area around a fire. This involves encouragement for the community to learn about gardening and helping the environment as well as recycling everyday items to be used in the garden, such as bottles for bird feeders, old logs for bug houses, and tin cans for plant pots. This allows food to be grown and then donated to people struggling in the community, producing healthy and free food.

We have renovated the area with many plots of growing food and greenery. To help people know what to do to help the plant life grow as well as possible and teach people how to recycle everyday items to use within the garden, we have made this website for the garden.

We encourage food bank donations with food bin pickups where the garden can donate fresh vegetables that are planned out to be growing all year through, switching to more root vegetables in the winter.

If you would like to book the gardens then please use this system. We will get back to you about your reservation
